This week is going to be a lighter one on cooking. I'm making a nice big batch of this this soba noodle salad. This recipe is a great way to use up those veggies and create a large appetizer to whatever kind of protein you plan on making. I've made this salad all sorts of ways--with cabbage, some peanuts, etc. Feel free to omit the chicken if that's not your thing. As always with Fancy Mouth, these recipes are a starting place on what to make. "Substitution" is now your middle name.
Get a big slab of salmon and make this recipe. Heck, double up on this recipe--it may become a household staple. It'll pair this sesame salmon with the soba noodle salad from above. You may also want to roast some broccoli and peppers at the same time to make use of your oven. Get in there.
This banana chocolate pudding is simple, uses any kind of milk and frees up counter space from all those bananas sitting there. Because we like to keep things fancy, I would crush up some toasted hazelnuts or walnuts to substitute for the chocolate syrup on top.
Own this week,
