Crab, baby 🦀
Congrats to America and to those getting the vaccine. We can't wait to eat with you.
N'Duja Baked Camembert
N'Duja is fancy af. It's basically spreadable salami. So you know it's going to be good, fatty and delicious. If you can get your hands on this try it out. If it's difficult to find, you may wanna go for some high quality Spanish (or even Mexican) chorizo and stuff some Camembert. This is a nice meal to share with the fam.
Crab is in season in California and it's time boil up some crustaceans. I would add some Dungeness crab to this meal (for those East Coasters, you can try your hands at some weak Blue Crab 😀...I know I just started a war over which coasts' crabs are better). Be sure to let the crab boil for about 10-15 mins with the potatoes and then add the shrimps.
Lion's Head Meatballs
I thought this was such a cool recipe name and never had Shanghai meatballs before. Meatballs are my comfort food.
Not sure why they're called Sailor biscuits but they look super easy to make and can be a fun way entry point into the cookie game. I have a feeling they're going to go well with my coffee on a Sunday afternoon.
Ps. I'm obsessed with these half-sheet pans.
